Optical Triangulation

Key Features

We have developed innovative, autonomous optical triangulation sensors that are used to detect space objects. Thanks to our approach we are able measure their position and velocity in three dimensional space (3D), unlike typical optical sensors. Depending on the target altitude ranges, we distinguish two types of sensors: all-sky re-entry focused and wide field of view fence-like systems.

Camera Array

We use camera arrays to obtain the required field-of-vew. We use best in class lenses that provide sub-pixel precision. All cameras are GPS-triggered for timing precision better than 1 microsecond.


All our triangulation sensors are fully autonomous and do note require an operator.


Our sensors are IP65 rated and have been operating in various climates and conditions without issues. No external enxlosure required!


Almost no moving parts, depending on sensor type, industrial components and attention to detail guarantee a high level of robustness. 

Sub-pixel Precision

Automatic astrometric calibration with custom lens distortion models provide astrometri calibration ~0.3 pixel.

3D Measurements

Unlike typical optical sensors, triangulation provides direct 3D position and velocity vectors.
